I only started exercising with kettlebells in the last year, and have quickly become fond of using them instead of dumbbells, etc. I chose these specific weights because they were neoprene-coated, and each weight is a separate identifiable color. They are high quality and exactly as I expected. Honestly, I love them.
That said, they are significantly more expensive than some of the other brands on Amazon. I didn't initially plan to buy that many different weights, but over time I wanted some heavier weights, and I also needed lighter weights to exercise with my kid, so I ultimately wound up buying one of every increment from 5 LB to 50 LB at a total cost of about $700.
But if you know you want a full set up front, there are cheaper options especially if you go with vinyl coating. I'm happy with them but if I had to do it over again probably would have bought a set from a cheaper brand.
