Have had this a few days now and it seems to be a good substitute for my full sized weighted blanket that is way too hot in the summer. I wanted something that i could still drape across my torso while i sleep, but that wasn’t so crazy hot. This seems to be nice compromise. It’s not too light-weight and the size seems to be ok. The color is really pretty the material is soft. So i think this will be a good summer alternative to my hotter, heavier weighted blanket.

I mostly love this blanket after having it and using it for about 10 days. I had been looking at regular size and shape weighted blankets for months but have been hesitating because of the price, and uncertainty about what weight and fabric type to get. I decided to try this because of the price point and high reviews. It is definitely helping me sleep more soundly and that is the most important thing. The only major cons for me are the shape—I would have preferred a regular rectangle, but I knew what shape it was going to be when I bought it—and the fact that it took a long time to air dry. I have not overheated with it and that was another concern I had, and it is soft on both sides, and quiet. I would give it 4.5 stars if I could because my issues are relatively minor in the grand scheme of things, but it’s not perfect for me, hence the 4 stars.

The leaf shape is cute but obviously won’t go from chin to ankles even on a 5’3” frame. But it is a “lap blanket” . Anyhow, feels soft and well made. I use mine to sleep. Replacing a bigger weighted blanket that finally died in the washer after many years. But this one.. this one is doing very well. Very happy with it and it looks like the stitching will be better able to survive the wash. Good quality. And cute design .
