Seems like a good rope. Of course I've only jumped with it a few times, after shortening it. I just got it so that's my excuse. The only complaint that I have is they need to have some accessories available for this jump rope. Like, where's the weights that fit snugly in the handles? It really needs them to kind of counterbalance the weight of the rope, plus I want a better workout than these light handles provide. I have another rope that has weighted handles, that I had to replace the rope with a tree rope that works really well, and it's starting to break on the handle (super glue to the rescue) so I want a backup rope just in case that one gives up the ghost.
Overall. I'm find this jump rope a good fit. You have to straighten it up though. Since it's plastic it tends to retain it's bends past when you want it to. Obviously I'm going to have to replace the rope part at some point. I use a jump rope a lot, and when it bends it's kind of annoying when it catches on your feet. I know, go faster so it flattens out, thanks for the advice. Still want something that's just going to not retain it's bends. 5 stars overall.

I was able to add weights to the handles and now it's absolutely awesome. Carry on.

So here is a weird review. I bought this for myself to get into shape. Once I got it, noticed the nice weight (not heavy but just enough), adjustable and quality of the jump rope. But than remembered back in school (decades ago), I wasn’t that great jump roping; always hitting my feet or face. Now, visualizing hitting my forehead constantly (it sounds rather pathetic), I passed it on to an “experienced” person. He LOVES it!!!! No complaints!!!!!!! He asked that I give it 10 stars.

At the time, this 1lb weighted skipping rope by ‘KUTIZE’ is $22.

– The skipping rope is roughly 1lb, however note that includes the weight of the handles, so it’s not a '1lb rope'
– Said handles are a hollow metal with a low-average quality rubber grip on it
– The rope itself is a relatively thick, stiff/inflexible plastic. The rope comes coiled up in the box and those bends aren’t really coming out of it well. Hopefully it softens/straightens up with time, but I’m also storing/using it in my cold garage, which I’m sure is not helping with the materials flexibility.
– My normal skipping rope is about 260 grams (~180g less than this one), so this one doesn’t feel much different in your hand, but you definitely notice the difference once skipping.

I'd suggest to always use this with shoes on. I tried it at one point without and this rope has a lot more kinetic energy behind it than a regular skipping rope, so it really doesn’t feel nice hitting your feet.

Overall, I notice the weight difference, though the rope is not truly 1lb, but I wish the ‘rope’ was a softer material so it flowed a bit more like an actual rope (but hopefully with use/when the weather gets warmer).

Edit: After a few days of hanging, the rope has mostly straightened out, however it is still very stiff and kinks easily. This also makes the feel of skipping with it somewhat different.
