Announcing powerful new enhancements to Cisco Nexus Hyperfabric
As the digital world races forward, the demand for seamless AI networking and modernized data center operations has never been higher. At Cisco Live EMEA 2026, we are thrilled to unveil groundbreaking new capabilities in Cisco Nexus Hyperfabric—our next-generation, cloud-managed network fabric solution that’s redefining how enterprises design, deploy, and operate their data centers.
AI Networking: The heartbeat of modern data centers
AI Networking reflects a new era in which AI-driven operations are no longer aspirational but essential. Cisco Nexus Hyperfabric stands together with other Cisco products at the forefront of this transformation; it is bringing together the best of cloud automation and hardware innovation to create a fabric that is as intelligent as it is intuitive.
Cisco Nexus One
Cisco Nexus One is an open, unified solution that brings together silicon, systems, optics, software, and a single operating model. Purpose-built for neoclouds, sovereign clouds, and enterprises, Nexus One delivers open choice at every layer—providing consistency from front-end, back-end, and storage networks.
Nexus One embeds network intelligence from silicon through software and operationalizes it through a unified operating model—on-premises, in the cloud, and API-driven first. Nexus One enables customers to stand up AI and non-AI fabrics faster, scale predictably, and operate securely and efficiently with assured performance. The result is lower time to value and lower cost of ownership as customers expand AI infrastructure without fragmenting operations.
The solution leverages Silicon One technology and advanced software capabilities to maximize GPU utilization, accelerate job completion times, and deliver secure, simplified operations at scale.
What is Cisco Nexus Hyperfabric?
As part of Cisco Nexus One, Cisco Nexus Hyperfabric is a revolutionary cloud-managed, as-a-service data center network fabric. It is compliant with the NVIDIA Enterprise Reference Architecture (ERA), offering incredibly fast time to first token.
“Deploying Nexus Hyperfabric revealed how simple and effective modern data center management can be. Even during our limited trial, its streamlined lifecycle management—from initial setup to ongoing operations—stood out and significantly reduced complexity. This allows our team to dedicate more time to innovation instead of routine infrastructure tasks. Nexus Hyperfabric’s multi-site capabilities are set to simplify the connection of fabrics across various locations, boosting both agility and resilience. The introduction of Nexus 9000 Series Switches for Hyperfabric marks Cisco’s delivery of a unified, scalable platform designed to transform the future of data center networking.”
– Rajeev Khanolkar, Chief Strategy Officer and Co-Founder, Gruve
For Nutrien’s second data center deployment of Cisco Nexus Hyperfabric:
“As a global leader in sustainable agriculture, Nutrien values operational efficiency. Deploying Cisco Nexus Hyperfabric gave us a unified, cloud-managed platform that streamlined our network operations. The system was quickly deployed on a Friday night and in production by Saturday morning. This rapid implementation and continued simplified management allow our teams to focus on innovation and service enhancement, rather than the complexities of network configuration.”
– Brock Richards, Global Network Architect, Nutrien
“Sharon AI has selected Cisco Nexus Hyperfabric to power our AI solutions because it delivers a comprehensive, end-to-end infrastructure that seamlessly integrates networking, GPU, and storage. This robust platform enables us to accelerate enterprise deployment with a fully Cisco-validated solution that aligns with NVIDIA NCP design and performance standards. By leveraging a unified, cloud-managed control point, we simplify operations, reduce management overhead, and ensure consistent, high-performance experiences—ultimately allowing us to innovate faster and deliver greater value to our customers.”
– James Manning, CEO, Sharon AI
On the Nexus Hyperfabric full-stack AI infrastructure solution: “It just works straight out of the box. We didn’t have to do any tweaking or make any changes, nothing whatsoever. It just worked…[as network engineers], we are living in Disneyland.”
– Mohammed A Jameel, Lead AI Network Architect, Cisco Systems IT
