The rollers have a thick mat, which is great for getting paint into cracks and such. The rollers do have some resistance to rolling – but typical of others I've used. The extra trays are super convenient as well to help with clean out. You get a lot more with this kit than if you were to try and buy it at all at a home improvement store. Great value.

Super convenient for big and small jobs

I don't have a good excuse for why it took me a year and a half to paint a wall. I'd had electric baseboard heaters removed, and put up drywall patches with spackle. But I just didn't feel like painting, even though I've painted ceramics for 10 years. I didn't want to deal with the mess of painting two wall areas (about 12 feet total). I finally got the energy to do it the millisecond I ordered this. It had everything I needed: paint rollers, easy-to-hold handle, small paint brush, a liner to avoid getting the paint tray permanently messy, and a drop cloth. While I do wish the drop cloth was longer than it was wide, that was about my only complaint. Painting was quick and easy, and these supplies were easy to wash of and clean. I even kept the original liner I used because it is still in good shape and easy to rinse off. Not sure when I'll need to use this again, but it was worth the money spent.

Love the pan and the handle for the rollers. Paint brush is okay. The rollers themselves are junk. They don't hold paint well they shed and you have to paint over what you just painted 4 times and even then you still might have covered the wall. Over all it's a good value for the money just buy different rollers.

So this is only a 4.95-star review. I used these to paint 4" tall baseboards and they work just perfect. These get into the cracks and edges. The roller ls are small enough to maneuver on the trim and not leave marks on the walls or floors. the only thing i wish was a little different was the paint tray – it doesnt hold enough paint. so i just used a larger tray and i'm super happy!
